The inclusion of Cherki is somewhat random. What has he achieved of significance which warrants such a conclusion? He has for sure a lot of potential but what else? For me until we replace King Kev and find a fast pair of legs like Kyle's to snuff out transitions we will struggle to dine at the top table. Rodri may well take until December to get his mojo back and who knows when Phil will get his back. I think we will challenge but may well fall short. It'll be close, certainly closer than last season.
Rodri, Cherki and Foden turn up, we will win it.
Only The Rodri part, there are plenty of goals in the probable team next season. A right back would be nice but we've managed before without 2 top class full backs. We need Rodri too stay fit.
We need a top class goal scoring wide player.
We need a top class right back.
All of the above need to happen imho.
Gooners and Chavs will be challenging for sure. We'll be there or thereabouts if we can stop this one shot/one goal nonsense. I'm also hoping a ruthless Erl will be back in business next season.I think a healthy Rodri, Cherki & Reijnders settling in relatively quickly, and Phil remembering how to play football gives us a decent chance.
Liverpool is the main threat. None of the other contenders are up to par imo.
Good lord, when did the Dog and Duck sign Rodders ?We could have a 52 year old Charvet at Right back as long as Rodri is fully fit throughout we’ll win it
Which were the small games that City won against the top 6/7 teams? The two against Chelsea, the one against Villa, the 4-0 against Newcastle, two wins against Forest?we havent won a big game against a top side for fucking ages. away we are shite as well
Absolutely this! We've been missing 20+ goals from anyone besides Haaland. Mahrez, Alvarez, and others used to step up and with KDB now gone too, the gap is even bigger. Last season, the new players didn’t come close to matching what those guys delivered, and that’s the root of the problem we need to fix.
