The inclusion of Cherki is somewhat random. What has he achieved of significance which warrants such a conclusion? He has for sure a lot of potential but what else? For me until we replace King Kev and find a fast pair of legs like Kyle's to snuff out transitions we will struggle to dine at the top table. Rodri may well take until December to get his mojo back and who knows when Phil will get his back. I think we will challenge but may well fall short.

Only The Rodri part, there are plenty of goals in the probable team next season. A right back would be nice but we've managed before without 2 top class full backs.

Liverpool is the main threat. None of the other contenders are up to par imo.

Gooners and Chavs will be challenging for sure. We'll be there or thereabouts if we can stop this one shot/one goal nonsense. I'm also hoping a ruthless Erl will be back in business next season.

Changed my opinion from my initial post earlier on this thread.
My gut feeling says we're gonna make a big statement this coming season.

I think we have more than a puncher’s chance.

Reijnders is a tremendous addition to the squad. If he clicks with Gonzalez, we are in business.
Foden looks like he’s fresh, moving brilliantly and has his confidence back. He is a world class footballer, right there. Already the real deal, Weiss can only aspire to emulate his achievements. He is still only young.
Rodri will be like a new signing, but he already knows our systems. He may need to be eased into things.

Cherki is a little bit of an unknown quantity to me. I have high hopes though. Clearly has unbelievable talent and could easily be world class.
Ait Nouri also looks like a solid addition.

We have players of real quality, who know what it takes to win the league.

My only reservation is around right back. Despite improving, Nunes is not good enough, it’s that simple. That said, as a squad player, he has some value. If we can offload him though, I would.

In short, as others have mentioned, if we perform as we can and Cherki really plays, we can challenge.

Foden can do it if he’s back to his best form, and I believe in him.

Marmoosh has lots of goals in his locker.

Cherki could be anything.. he has such a high ceiling and massive self belief. He could rip up the premiership this season.

Not sure. Still think we are in a transitional period personally. The loss of Kev will definitely hit us at some point. Rodri may never fully come back to the same player, no Kyle Walker to bail us out. Really not sure what to expect, but looking forward to seeing the new boys and how they fit in.

Dias needs to improve and find his form, Stones and Ake need to stay fit all season long. Pep needs to give the younger lads a chance.
