Will we win the league this season?

No chance with the sort of midfield we put out against Burnley. There is absolutely a complete lack of creativity.
A midfield that included Foden and Reijnders certainly doesn’t lack creativity. Were we less creative against Burnley than the dippers were a couple of weeks ago? The dippers who needed an injury time penalty to score against the same side.

I am not interested in other teams, just my team and we lack creativity. Apart from Wolves away Reijnders has done nothing at all to fill me with confidence and personally I prefer Foden up front.

Personally his assist at Arsenal filled me with a lot of confidence, especially when so many of his team mates would have passed too soon (and lost the potential overlap) or too late (and lost the angle)

He's an extremely intelligent player but it will take some time before others find his wavelength

If his assist against Arsenal has done ‘nothing at all’ to fill you with confidence then that says more about you than him, including your deployment of pleonasms to make a point.

Ticket office call line is fucking useless.
  • Press 1 for call back - "There is nobody available to call you back."
  • Wait times are currently 1m 40s - I have been on for over 12 minutes so far.

All i'm hoping is that Burnley does not become 'Wolves moment 2.0'.

Not really, especially when you see who posted it.

I didn't think we were that great on Saturday, but we didn't have to be, and scored 5 (doesn't matter who scored them or when they were scored).

Some just can't help themselves.
Burnley were pretty lucky even with the 2 OG's. There were a couple of first half chances one which could have been another OG & the Doku pen/possibly the Walker handball.

Then I look at that XG shite and think we were the lucky ones....and we should have only scored 2!!!

I wouldn’t rule us out of it. The pressure is on both Liverpool and Arsenal. Liverpool because they spent Liberias debt on players and won the league in July.
Arsenal because they be all accounts have the best squad known to football and must want to shake the always second tag.

Hopefully city can just keep on the coat tails and then come march April is when we get big.

We're very vulnerable on our right flank and we're still a long way short of our recent highs but it's not impossible.

The dippers are overachieving and you can't escape maths, this will balance out over a season, as Saturday afternoon demonstrated. As it stands though they still look like they've got that final bit of killer instinct edge - the same edge we had that led to our treble win, overturning the Villa game etc. I'm not sure we've quite got that at the moment.

Arsenal are Arsenal. They are fundamentally weak and don't have it in them. I'll leat my hat if this Arsenal side win a title.

If we take our chances we've got a reasonable shout but while I don't think the dippers are as far ahead as the current table shows, they probably do have a few points on us over a season.

After last year's shit show, if we finish a close second and win a cup I think that's progress with this new team.

Let’s be realistic there’s nowhere near as much pressure on Liverpool as what we are trying to make out. Yes they spent big but they did win the title last season which basically gives them a free pass unless they massively regress. Next season however the pressure would be huge.

There is definitely pressure on us. No way should Manchester City ever go consecutive seasons without a league title. Not with the standards we have set.

Arsenal easily have the most pressure of the three. The amount of money they have spent with nothing to show for it and consistently falling short. Arteta simply has to deliver.

I’m confident because we are scoring now. I’d lost confidence with our wingers last year & we struggled to break teams down. We’d get done after missing loads but the top scorers normally take the league.
