TrollHow many City players would get in the Arsenal team.? I can't get past one.
Not if we carry on with the same poor windows. January was a disaster with all bar Nico a starting 11 player and Donna aside, not impressed yet with our summer ones. We need top quality players coming into the 1st 11, not CFG signings or potential good players a few years down the roadI think it will be 3rd. We're rebuilding the squad. Arsenal have been building their current squad for four years.
Squad still needs to be better and some of our summer signings look suspect already, Reijnders looks an utter disappointment, compounded by horrific decisions like not selling Savinho and even extending his contract.
Plus, relying on a post ACL Rodri and a crocked Kovacic was also not the best decision. But then the club has made very bad decisions the last two summer windows.
Another summer window or two and we'll be competing again, hopefully Pep extends again too.
And Arsenal dropped points at Sunderland.
So would it have been wrong of me to say before that match that Arsenal won’t drop points at Sunderland?
You post as though you're playing against Leeds next weekend and can physically make a differenceI think this thread needs to be split in two. One for the bedwetters prepared to concede a title not even a third of the way into the season.
And another for those of us prepared to knuckle down for a fight and not let or emotions completely sway on depending on each weeks results.
Knuckle down? Are you a new signing mate?I think this thread needs to be split in two. One for the bedwetters prepared to concede a title not even a third of the way into the season.

Arsenal beating Spurs is not impressive. Which makes our defeat to them all the worse. Why is us beating Liverpool at home not considered impressive but Arsenal defeating Spurs at the emirates (which they always do) considered so?
Arsenal ‘the bucklers’ dropped points away at Sunderland so if we go to their place and get the win they would have only taken one more point from the north east than we have?
Don’t fret.Calling @LangleyBlue1970 to the thread urgently.
I insult people who I think are being a bit over dramatic. You post as though you're playing against Leeds next weekend and can physically make a difference
In reality your opinion carries the same weight as everyone else, but for some reason, you gain comfort from insulting people who base their judgement on recent away performances rather than blind faith that everything will suddenly come good.
Anyway I hope you're right and Arsenal drop silly points whilst almost overnight we start defending set pieces properly and Doku and Cherki both finish the season with 10 PL goals.
I bet arsenal are fuming that they lost to that awful dippers side thanArsenal beating Spurs is not impressive. Which makes our defeat to them all the worse.
City started by drawing 0-0 at home with Liverpool before losing 2-3 at Southampton and 0-3 at Stoke. We lost 5 of our first 12 games in 1967-68.

I bet arsenal are fuming that they lost to that awful dippers side than
it’s almost as though you have never experienced a title race before. Unless arsenal build a handy lead they won’t win it.Arsenal have the best defence in the PL.
Arsenal have the best joint attack in the PL with City.
Arsenal have the best goal difference in the league, which is always worth at least 1 extra point at the end if the season, if the points are tied between 1st and 2nd.
Arsenal have drawn two matches.
Against City. Where City set out to defend, and against Sunderland, where Arsenal should have beaten Sunderland on chances missed, and Sunderland scored a last minute equaliser.
There is nothing in this title race atm to suggests City will go on an unbeaten run, now or in the new year.
There is definitely noting to suggest so far that this Arsenal team and squad will bottle the title again this seaso.
Clutching at straws springs to mind atm.

No because Villa & Newcastle are two away matches that anyone can lose atAren’t you even more fuming that City lost to those awful Spurs, Villa, and Newcastle sides? Neither of those teams will be in the title race.
