Will we win the league this season?

Arsenal will drop points thats not the issue. Issue is even Arteta expected us to do 4-6 points from Sunderland/Chelsea and we did only 2.

if we cant beat these, then I dont have high hopes of doing 9 points away to rags, Spurs, Liverpool which we even didnt that in our prime under Pep. and then Arsenal easily can drop as many as we drop in these fixtures.

I think there's a lot more variance in both teams performances this year that even if you think that's what'll happen, it could easily be very different.


What are you predicting the Arsenal (H) game ends up as?

I think we beat Arsenal at home mate.

I do think we drop points away to Liverpool and Chelsea though.

I also think we may drop a few points here and there in and around the mid-week CL games because we don't have the squad right now to play a solid team in both.

yep, this looks quite bad here:
02.01. Spurs-City
02.04. City-Newcastle (Carabao 2nd leg)
02.08. Liverpool-City

Liverpool sit back and relax all week while we may play a high tempo cup game.

we also face rags away after their full week relax while we visit Newcastle in the 1st leg very soon, where we lost this season already in league.

these two-legged Carabao semis has to be fucking cancelled and made one off game. the loser side will feel played two extra hard games all for nothing...

It's disgraceful and degrading long term to the tournament because it's partly a reason why the top teams don't really take it seriously as you end up having to sacrifice it for the sake of the league and nowadays with the expanded CL, a few extra games in Jan and Feb.

I do worry avout the United game.

Barring the home game against us, they have been competitive in pretty much every big game they have played. It's against the dross where they look crap.

Beat Liverpool away and should have beat Arsenal at home, they were by far the better team.

Fair calls.

I still think Arsenal are at risk of the same though. Margins will be slim.
