I really do hope so.

To date the best atmos we have had was Hamburg, second to that was probably last year in the carling cup against the rags.

Lets make Wednesday hell.

Really? I thought last seasons home leg of the league cup semi atmosphere wasn't much cop really. In fact apart from the first derby in this stadium, when we won 4-1, none of the other derby atmospheres rate with the top few of our best atmopsheres at the CoMS!

The best being:
Hamburg
Chelsea 2-1 2009-10
Chelsea 1-0 2005-06 (the only game Chelsea lost that season)
Villa 3-1(?) 17:30 kick-off around 2003-04(?) (a bit of a random game to have a good atmosphere for but it was really really good!)
Bolton 6-2 just after we moved in
Rags 4-1 2004

Chelsea last season was probably the best atmosphere we've had in a long time, it was superb.

What I would really love to see once again, similar to the home semi final last season is people on the spirals giving vigorous abuse from above down onto the filth. It was excellent walking past the nearest spiral to the away end watching dozens of people lined up chanting and abusing reds - top class work. That would be great to see again.

Inside the ground, well, we have to make the atmosphere what we know it can be. It can be top notch and we can intimidate the shoes off of that scum from Stretford. Come on City!

It's strange to consider that if we won this game we would be level on points with the rags and if we beat them 7 - 0 we'd go above them. Just saying =)
