Quite a different type of player from what i've seen.

Although about 15 minutes after i posted how good he'd been, he shat out of blocking a shot from Vidal in the last minute of extra time in the semi-final of an international tournament, so...yeah.

His moustache is definitely shite though.

Every time I see catwalk I think he looks a decent player who good be a pretty good option for us. But most people think he is awful am I missing something?

Not awful. Just average, not the player you need to sign to compete for the CL. He could be a decent squad player for us, but we're so heavily restricted with foreign spots that only quality players should be bought. His English carbon copy would be a wonderful buy though.

But he is better then Fernando and is still pretty young for his position think we could do a lot worse. In saying that just read they are looking for 40 mil thought it was 15mil!

Comparisons to Fernando are absurd. He would fit in perfectly with our style, he plays the same exact spot for Portugal. His composure on the ball and passing range is evident every time I watch him. I'm not saying he's a must signing, but he would absolutely do a job here. How many other players can you think of that'd be better for the single pivot role? It's a pretty narrow and unique skill set.
