Strange if they have announced before everything has been finalised and had to take it down

Manchester City acquire Willy Caballero: it’s official. The former Malaga goalkeeper will play in the Premier League next season. The club confirmed it with a statement on their website: “City are delighted to announce the signing of Argentinian goalkeeper Willy Caballero. The 32-year-old has joined the club from Malaga on a 3 year deal.” Caballero commented: “I know I am coming to a big club with a very good goalkeeper. City alady have a great goalkeeper in Joe Hart, but I will try and compete for the no.1 spot. This is a new challenge and a new league for me. The most beautiful moments of my career were under Manuel Pellegrini in Malaga. I spoke to Roque Santa Cruz and Demichelis, and they told me that Manchester is a very beautiful city and very welcoming.”

This is a fantastic signing he should of been called up for the national team.I highly recommend looking at his performance last season against Real Madrid although goals were scored he single handily stopped it becoming double digits and shut down Ronaldo.
 
yet another aging foreign player that will cause unnecessary squad problems in europe and pl .but thats not his problem look forward to watching live a very good goalie with brilliant agility and a very entertaining way of goal keeping . welcome to city big willy

As for Willy.... do any of you think Manuel sees him as our nr.1 for next season?

More than likely. Look how MDM has gone in ahead of Joleon.
MP has pursued him for a while. Joe had his work cut out now.
I think this will be a good thing for us as I think he will turn out to be the better keeper (hope I am wrong though as I am a fan of our Joe..)
I trust MP as always!
