I posted a little story in the unlucky gambler thread but thought I would give it a potential bigger audience in a more relevant thread.
With so many retirements this year, it may well be worth considering which firms go with which rule in the event of a retirement before placing bets.
As far as I know the following firms go, all bets stand on the player who qualifies for the next round if one point is completed:

The following firms go, all bets void if the match isn't completed:
Hills,

Paddy Power
Stan James
Chandler
The following firms go, all bets stand if one full set is completed:
Tote
Betfair
Betfred
Please feel free to add more firms if you know their rules and please note, this is just my understanding and don't call me **** if any of them have changed their rules recently.
