Well Novak got penalised for a loud shout during one rally! The umpire called ‘Hindrance’ for something that sounded to me lower than some of the shouts and grunts shouted all the time, especially by the women players!

It was nothing compared to that big fucker yesterday in the women’s semi. Sabalenka was literally screaming at the top of her voice and not a dicky bird was said.

It’s all wrong that this poor girl, Ons Jabeur, has to be interviewed whilst she is so upset. They should have left her interview until later. I don’t think I’ve seen a runner up cry so much even Novotna who was hugged by the Duchess of Kent when she lost and cried.

Amazing that Marketa Vondrousova is the first unseeded female player in the Ooen era. She did really well. Not a bad match
especially when she has no sponsor as well. Congratulations young lady.

Can’t say I watch much women’s tennis, but I think I’ve seen Jabeur hit the net more times than Haaland this year. She seems to lose the ability to make shots in the finals.
