Is anyone having problems with windows 7 in the sense that on shut down it always updates the same 2 updates?

The past week on shut down my PC has tried to update 2 things so the other night I did a manual update through control panel and noticed that the 2 updates is the exact same thing but it says it's updated successfully but it's still doing it now every time I shut my PC down!

Is this a known problem or is it just happening to me?

constantly having problems with it. Think my Laptop is broke. I always have 2 important updates that always fail anyway and on shutting down I can have from 2 to 4 updates happening each time,
No knew version of itunes ever downloads now either. Nor does Divx or any messenger.
Too dumb on computers to find out whats up.

Just check on the update gui what the repeating updates are. It is possible a firewall or read/write axx privs are not right.

Or alternatively do the right thing and get a Mac :)

Don't know about he other issues, but on my lappy, windows live update appears on every startup, I have looked into it and it appears that messenger will not update because it will only update if it detects that windows firewall is running, I have Norton internet security 2012 and it will not allow me to run windows firewall. Bloody microshaft, only allowing updates if you are using their software exclusively.
