Windows Movie Player help

Whenever I try and open anything in Windows Movie Player from an internet link all I get is 'internet explorer can not open this webpage' and then asks me to diagnose wireless connection problems.

There is nothing wrong with the wireless as Im connected to the internet at the time.

Anyone any ideas, its been happening for the past couple of months now.

Do you mean 'Windows Media Player' or 'Windows Movie maker ' ?Anyway, i am assuming its the former.I would suggest two things: 1) If you are using a proxy, please go to Tools->Options->Network and check if the proxy settings are 'Browser' 2) Please check if your firewall has accidentally blocked Windows Media Player thus preventing it from accessing the Internet.
