I'm supremely pissed of with Traktor. it wants to rewrite the tags on every mp3 I load into it as a matter of course.
this is utterly shite, for many reasons, not least, it updates all tags to id 2.4, making them invisible to explorer... but the big deal is they are my bloody tags and I want to keep them intact.
I can deny all write permission to my music library and Traktor still works fine.... but this means I, the user, can't edit the files in other programs.
so what I want to do is just deny write permissions for traktor.exe.
any clever sods know of a solution?
