I just walked back to my house from my work shop ( drinking den) and almost walked right into a very big Mule deer buck who was hanging out in the backyard. We did a short Mexican stare off at 8’ then just walked off in different directions

Too bad it wasn’t a doe, you’d have had some company tonight :)

Today is the real turning point, the day when sunrise starts to get earlier again. In two weeks it will be 10 minutes earlier here, in one month 45 minutes, and in two months 2 hours earlier.
