Fingers crossed for flying out June 1st: they don't seem to be panicking over the latest variant.

Cheapest I've found is £743 but I need to get over there so it will have to do!

Heading to the Gulf Coast next weekend, day or two in New Orleans then Mississippi. Thank fook as winter has returned here, snowing sideways and cold.

It is, one of the best places I’ve been. Vineyards are stunning
Great place to visit.
My favourite hotel in the world is in Cape Town- The Vinyard, an old colonial residence with giant tortoise wandering the grounds. Been to tvineyards and diving with Great White Sharks from there.

It was the hotel the England team stayed at during the South Africa World Cup but don’t let that put you off.

In Cyprus.
Weather is nice and not too hot right now.
Visited some great history today if you like antiquity. Found a very nice restaurant for the evening and the better half enjoyed many a cocktail.
Shame the hotel, which is supposed to be 5 star is nowhere near. This as I type, with crap loud music playing outside, when I would prefer to focus on the game. Plus, Unfortunately I noticed several of the clientele wearing Lpool shirts earlier too. Not sure how they got here. Suffice to say we won’t be back.

Anyone done Marrakesh,Morroco. was thinking of doing 4 or 5 nights in may, is it safe enough wondering about and another question, most of us like a beer or two after a day in the sun or a bottle of wine with a meel,as i understand it drinking is permited providing your not getting off your face, would it be better staying in Marrakesh or the new city of Gueliz about 10 miles out where its more geard up to serve beer
