With wigan being interested in SWP

I kept saying last season that I wanted to sign N'Zogbia to improve our bench. Cerci who?! GET N'ZOGBIA! As for SWP I'd hope he gets a run out at Villa, Newcastle or Sunderland than Wigan!

Would make perfect sense and less of a gamble than Cerci as he is Prem ready, while still reasonably priced. More versatile than AJ, plays both wings or attacking midfield behind a striker so could even deputise for Silva and still get plenty of games. Rotation will be key this year.
He pretty much kept Wigan up last season.
But I don't believe the gaffer is interested.

surely we should be looking at a part/ex involving n'zogbia? massively underrated player imo, a faster more refined johnno. not saying he's a world beater but look what valencia did for the rags fortunes and made shreks season and i certainly wouldn't have picked him out of the two when they were at wigan. top addition to the overall squad depth and gives us that something extra in those tricky games

i am suprised we aint gone for him any way n zogbia is a quality player but where would you play him without shipping out either Milner or Barry and both players i would want to keep

Getting rid of Barry and Milner for a better player must be good business - surely?

He isn`t better than either though. Milbner is being groomed to take Barry`s role or to rotate with Yaya, Barry and NDJ. Expect to see much more of him this year in his more natural central role.

An outcast they said, social pariah excluded from the team with Ade and bell-end they said. Couldn't wait to leave to find first team football they said. Another greedy mercenary they said.

If you want regular football then you have to earn it! I have nothing but respect for someone willing to fight for their place on the pitch instead of complaining about it being too competitive.

N'Zogbia = big fish small pond

SWP should be looking for a bigger club than the perennial relegation fighters that are Wigurn
I'm very surprised that clubs such as Aston Villa, Everton or Newcastle haven't made a move

Villa have made a move, everton have no money, and i seriously doubt the lad would consider going back to the geordies.

SWP has been on twitter loads recently. He's made it clear he wants to stay if possible so I think if he gets a glimmer of hope that he's in Mancini's plans (even just as a bench player) I think he'll stay.
