Wix.com

Heard about this a while ago, and noticed the Wix ads springing up at the ground late last year. Didn't think such a deal would be particularly lucrative, but was told it was worth a fair bit to the club.

Even though they're our "Official Website Design & Hosting partner", I get the feeling that the new official site (to be launched this summer) won't be built on their platform!

Haha good spot Ric.... can you imagine an in depth website like mcfc.co.uk being built on one of these easy website builder tools.

And I was unaware the club plan to introduce a new site in the summer... hopefully they'll improve the tickets section making it accessible to people running on Safari.

They have some innovative software on the OS already, they are pretty ambitious and are more server/storage focused from what I can gather. I've used them for several clients, community sites (http://murraysfc.wix.com/goal) and personal sites (my dull blog) for 4/5 years now. There is a market of pros and cons with them, reviews for and against. They seem to have used the What You See Is What You Get method many sites have failed on, but added more depth. Their top site list is dull (and suscpect): https://www.webhostinghero.com/websites-hosted-by-wix/

I believe City's current website is currently built using Sitecore www.sitecore.net
