Wolfsburn/Bayern

No but I can't wait for the Arsenal vs Blacksburg game in the cup tomorrow.

Lol.

Not been an amazing game. Lively, though.

The crazy thing is they still have guys like Robben, Shaqiri or Gomez on the bench. With Pep coming... wouldn't surprise me if next three CL seasons will be between Barca and Bayern only.

Most Football fans know that the German league is by far the best in the world atm. Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, and Bayer Leverkusen can pretty much shit on any 1 bar Barcelona. There mid table teams are superior to the epl.

It's subjective; I'd rather watch Spurs v Everton than Mainz v Bremen, formulating the strength of the leagues is an impossibility, besides how long has it been since the Bundesliga had a strong enough co-efficient for four champions league places?

One thing the Premier league should look at and take note of from Germany, other than ticket prices, is a league format of 18 teams rather than 20 and a promotion-relegation playoff.

I think EPL is the most entertaining league in the world but EPL clubs seem naive in Europe, care more about individuals than about proper tactics and even the current strongest EPL club would be a laughing stock against Bayern and Barca.

i don't like the german league, there are bad teams and a lot of unknown players.
I think that Southampton or Reading can easily win against Freiburg, Mainz or Frankfurt. They have good teams but i think EPL is much stronger than the German league. Otherwise they have with Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund 2 teams which are stronger than we are & i also think that they are better than chelsea, manchester or arsenal. We will see it tomorrow again when Gunners get destroyed by Bayern Munich.

The EPL is definitely still stronger than the Bundesliga, however the gap in the quality level is shrinking as we speak and I fancy the Bundesliga to become a force especially once the FFP rules are in place and once our TV contract reaches a similar level to the PL one.

The statement about "unknown" players is a bit ridiculous as the Bundesliga is rather about developing young players than just buying a finished product.

Müller, Özil, Schweinsteiger etc. were unknown once as well and now everyone talks about them or knows the names.

With the football team Germany recently plays the Bundesliga became more and more interesting to people all over the world and with Guardiola joining Munich it will give the league yet another boost.

The overall "package" is definitely not the worst as the quality of football is getting better and better each season, the atmosphere is the best of all "big" leagues and its still possible to attend a game without spending a fortune.

Guess thats the reason why the amount of english fans coming over to Germany is growing every season. Even my hometown club Eintracht Frankfurt, which hasnt won anything worth mentioning in recent years, attracts the attention from fans from Swansea, Oldham, Edinborough etc. Lots of them are meanwhile regular visitors at our games, simply because Bundesliga football is a blast from the past for them. Drinking with your mates, singing your heart out, curse as much as you want and overall a football trip from the UK to Germany costs less than a trip to an Arsenal away fixture.
