It was Reijnders but I voted for Bobb just so he got a look in. I thought Bobb was brilliant. He showed what we were missing last season.

No doubt Reijnders was motm, but Bobb, Trafford, Stones, Dias all looked good. Haaland clinical when he needed to be as usual. Cherki was our most exciting player in the short time he came on. We're back

I voted Reijnders but I also thought that Trafford and Cherki were excellent.

Trafford was critical when we were as bereft as ever of attacking threat.

Then Reijnders became majestic.

And later Cherki was gloriously silky smooth.

I hope Pep gets something going that seems to unlock the great players in the squad for the whole of a game. Early days though and loads of very good performances individually.

Rjeinders was ridiculously good. He’s going to be an absolute star. Plenty of other good performances in there too, from the likes of Lewis, Stones, Gonzalez, Bobb and a great little cameo from Cherki. Lots of positives from today.

I thought Bernie was all over the pitch, as usual. Trafford looked composed and Johnny Boulders and Oscar looked like new signings.

Easiest decision of all time.

Reijnders with one of the best midfield performances you're likely to see.

Not to say there weren't other great performers, the whole team gave strong showings especially Oscar Bobb, Nico G, Haaland, Bernardo and Cherki off the bench. Stones, Aït-Nouri, Lewis and Trafford very solid also.

You can tell he is a great player. He kills the ball instantly and always seems to have time on the ball and space. He was a level above anyone else on the pitch. Rodri alongside him will be an unplayable midfield. This is the start of another era. I hope Pep stays longer.
