Wolves (A) | PL | Post-Match Thread

Stonesy for the 2nd time this season papirer over a lot of cracks.

I get that Pep is using this part of the season to figure it out, but his in-game management and refusal to rectify what isn't working inside the 90 minutes is infuriating. Our creativity in midfield is absolutely awful, Gündogan should give his instructions from the bench for the next few weeks. Doing his best McManaman impression at the moment. Foden should always start when De Bruyne is out.

When Haaland isn't on it or fed good enough, we rely on set-piece heroics from Stonesy or individual brilliance from Gvardiol. And not our midfielders who could all play for weeks without scoring or creating at the moment and that is a huge issue

Fuck off pal

So the linesman flagged for offside in real time? Did he actually or did he have someone in his ear then put the flag up 10 seconds later?

Nicked one there. They’ll be talk of interference, but from the moment the ball looks like it’s going for a header, Bernardo is trying to get out of the way. Sa only has eyes on the ball and Bernardo isn’t interfering.

Even Tim Howard…a goalkeeper…says NOT OFFSIDE.

Robbie Mustoe…not a City fan AT ALL…says OFFSIDE, but Howard SCHOOLS HIM on the offside rules!! Offside “position” isn’t “offside” until the offside decision has to be made, which is when Syones heads the ball and Silva is no longer interfering with the goalkeeper or the ball.

Brutal losing goal for Wolves, but it WAS A GOAL! My only wish is that Nunes had scored it!!!

Those 2pts might be crucial come the end of the season.
