Great test tonight. A few players not fit because of Covid, no pre-season and we are still trying to sign a centre half. Hardly ideal. In our favour, it`s played behind closed doors as Wolves do generate a decent atmosphere. Looking for BIG CAJONES from the boys. We can`t give the scousers any sniff of advantage and we need 3 points.

Want sterling back on the right with phil and Kevin getting into the box and shooting instead of extra passes. I genuinely believe phil can get 20 goals in all comps this season. Haha no pressure, but I think he will rise to the occasion.

That was my thinking watching Phil last season. If he gets a good run he could easily hit 20

Fairly sure Garcia is off the Barca, mate, which is why he won’t play.

I believe John is available but I imagine Dinho will play along side Ake as he is captain.

Could be wildly wrong knowing Pep, though. He may start Stones and then send Dinho to the press box to clean our coverage up a hit.

Probably none too pleased.

And, FWIW, I would rather Stones start personally (as anyone active in the John Stones thread could predict); I am just commenting on what I think will *actually* happen. Could obviously be wrong with that prediction, as knowing Pep, he could start a pacey u14 team CB as a sweeper behind three at the back.

Just seen this now about Garcia. Busy day. Not had time to look at anything football. So either Stones or Fernandinho.

I suspect you may be right, either way i guess we will find out soon enough.

If Stones cant get a start tonight in front of Ferny then I think he may ask to move on, especially as we would then only be starting Ferny as we haven't managed to secure a centre half for the right side,
