well the beeb just put the jinx on us

Manchester City are looking to equal Aston Villa's record of winning 10 consecutive opening fixtures to a top-flight season, set between 1891 and 1900.

They started last season with a 5-0 thrashing of West Ham, Raheem Sterling hitting a hat-trick that day.

Although this is obviously a less traditional reason, these sort of breakthrough opportunities most often come from injury crises.

Yeah completely agree

Lets hope if he is given the chance he grabs it

Bernarbe has always looked an exciting player as well but as with any younger player the step up is always big

Why do people expect Walker and Mendy bombing down the line?
Walker has no end product and we know Mendy has changed after ACL too.

Futhermore, we have a new defence with Aké. First of all we need stability and that means full backs should better stay deeper.

Also, in Raz and Foden we have wingers. You don't play wing backs AND wingers.

I hope we stay a bit deeper with 4 at the back and mainly avoid counter attacks,
what Wolves are only waiting for.

It’ll probably be Rodri and Fernandinho in a double pivot protecting the back four. Kevin to roam with Foden and Sterling on the wings.
