I’ve got tickets for a gig at wythenshawe park on Saturday night so trying to find a pub nearby that will have the football on do decent food. Anyone got any recommendations?

Given that there's a huge dilemma between Cherki and Marmoush vs Savio and Doku, I don't think Pep is entirely sure what to choose either
 
If it were up to me, we'd line up like this:
Trafford
Nunes Dias Khusanov Ait-Nouri
Nico G.
Cherki Reinders
Bernardo Haaland Doku

This is already a great team and it's without Rodri, Foden and Gvardiol, who may not be ready to start. We really have a fantastic squad.

So many options for Pep though as you're leaving out the likes of Gundo, Bobb, Foden, Savinho, Marmoush etc. It will take Pep ages to know his best 11

Pep will no doubt play Bernardo being club captain and all that so Cherki will probably be on the bench. Foden and Gvardiol weren't included due to injuries. On paper when you look at our options it's mighty impressive i have a feeling (Hope) we could surprise a few this year.

In Benidorm for this one and can't wait.

This one gets my vote. Totally agree that Pep will go with Bernardo though.
 
For me Bobb starts over Sav at present

the centre half pairing is a difficult one.....Stones and one of Gvardiol would be the main pair but I thnk Gvardiol is injured...for me its then Khusonov....his ability to cover in behind is vital

left back is obviouly Alt nouri

right back out of the two we have it will have to be Nunes

In rodri's place it has to be Nico Gonzales

Ederson starts...his work with his feet it vital and better than Traffords

When does the PL squad have to be in? The 18 in the squad for the day will be intresting there is going to be 7 players left out at present. That's 1 job pep won't be looking forward too.

I think reijnders and bernie play as 2 sitters with gundo in the 10. Me personally would play bernie and gonzalez as sitters with reijnders in the 10.

So yes., i agree that next week is NOT a game for Nunes ... it's a game for an eager to impress Khusanov, who did okay last night, and was doing nothing wrong (on the pitch) generally before he was benched last time out ... I might have said Lewis, but at the moment, I'm not all that convinced we can rely on him, and Pep might still have doubts too.

I'd love to see Khusanov developed as a right-back - he has pace, height and aggression - against strong teams like the Madrid entitled and Scouse entitled - also as a back three with Stones and Gvardiol - letting Nunes and Ait go forward as wing backs.

Yep, not a bad idea ..... this game at Wolves will be a battle, and we'll need our defenders to stand firm and defend well to keep Wolves out ..... the only point being whether Pep actually plays Ait Nouri and Nunes, with them being ex-Wolves players, they will get a lot of stick.

And we know only too well that any challenge or tackle could easily put John Stones back in treatment room again!

If Stones is fit he needs to play, in the position he played in treble season. Dias and Khus next to him. Josko to be rested as we need him for the long term. In January we miss Marmoush and ant Nouri for African cup.
