I would like to have seen Khusanov at RB, but I’ll happily go with Pep’s selection. Interesting to see Gonzalez there after being ignored for a long time. He could do himself a world of good with a strong performance. The formation will be interesting.

Ait nouri assist for haaland, guaranteed. Can see cherki and marmoush coming on and terrorising tired legs too. 6-1. Have it.

I have absolutely no idea how this is going to go. We are still in transition and a bit of a quandary with the rumours about Eddie and Savhino. Just hoping for three points as always and to get these transfers, if they're going to happen, sorted asap.

No Cherki ,boring ,really hoped he will start this one. Add in Rodri ,is this team really ready to fight for another treble? highly doubt so ,but let´s wait and see.
Another who thought he had to include his IQ score in his username.

Glad Nico is playing.
Stones & Dias, back together again.
Lewis over Nunes, as Nunes would be getting booed no doubt.
Quality on the bench if we need it
Trafford starting, I don’t believe for a second Ederson & Savinho are injured, Pep’s not messing about!

It's time for Oscar Bobb to show everyone what is he capable of.

The fact that Nico starts ahead of Gundogan also makes me happy and Rico has good chemistry with him in midfield (Newcastle (H) game last season)..

It's interesting how Reijnders will play and Ait-Nouri's defensive skills will be tested a lot also as we have 2 central defenders, 1 fullback and 1 Rico...

I don't think it will be an easy game but hopefully Bobb and Reijnders are in good form and they will deliver goals..

Good Luck Boys !!!!

First game of the season, players will be at different levels of fitness, we won't get a settled team until after the 4th or 5th game, can't see anything wrong with the team and expect there will be plenty of changes during the game

Here we go, let's see Sky's narrative this year.

Worth mentioning that they didnt mention the cost of Liverpool's XI once last night.

Nice lineup and strong bench.
I cannot think of a single lineup that nobody here would complain about.
Good luck blues. We all want a win, and we are back!
