How In gods name does Grealish keep his ace, after midweek shouldn't even be in the squad.

Grealish just needs a confidence boosting impact on a game (eg. A couple of goals and an assist or two assists and a goal in a dominating performance).

Perhaps he would work better from the left but with licence to move around more freely which won’t happen with cancelo being free.

Very much worth while studying the Pitcam version of Wednesday's game for Jack's reactions. He himself knows that it just isn't good enough. Hope the breakthrough comes.

I don’t know what more Alvarez needs to do to start games.

Would also like to see more of him, of course, but I think we all have to be mindful that he has played a lot of football, almost continuously. As such, the management are probably managing his fitness levels so that we can use him throughout the season and not burn him out. Just a thought.

Personally think he can play a more effective role inside left, in and around the edge of the box. Also get more pens here instead of fk’s. If we had a good overlapping LB that would work well …
