Why am I more nervous for this than I was for the ECL final last year. ?

I don't know.

Because you're a Blue. The majority of us always expect a trip up. I think we've had it with the CL again, but for some reason I still expect another. It's even worse as Liverpool have a good chance to win all 4 trophies if we mess up.
