Wolves Atmosphere

I hope we don't do too many "easy" chants, even when it is. Can we be brilliant, thanks to the money, but maintain a bit of perspective about where we've come from, and the resources of other clubs?
+1

Sing it at our equals, and Everton, but not at those who are striving to survive, it's just cruel. Even when they're shit to us, which Wolves fans have been on many, many occasions, it's the done thing to just smile and shake the loser's hand. Even Fergie managed that. It hurts them more.

Worth adding at this point that utd fans after the Jubilee were quite amicable towards us. I think they still didn't think we'd ever do it again though.

Fair point. But last night city had to put up with some a load of crap and abuse from wolves fans above us in the Steve Bull stand upper-just the usual i,m a hard bastard cos i sit above the way fans sort of stuff, leaning over the wall, shouting crap, and this of course intensified when they scored. the chants were just city taking the piss after they had done their bit.

it may have sounded bad on tv but as usual there are two sides to every story.

if, for instance, we had been in a stand of our own say behind the goal, the arrogant sounding stuff would prob never have been sung..with the exception of we,ll score when we want which was really for the watching rags and only partially for the knob head wolves fans who started baiting us too soon.

i,d be worried tho if we started singing easy easy on a regular basis.

Me too. It didn't sound like anything on TV, couldn't hear "easy easy" at all. Definitely heard "we'll score when we want" though, very funny, and they showed the Poznan after our first goal. Didn't show it after their second, that must've been superb

who put the ball in uniteds net who put the ball in uniteds net half the ffin team did. good night train half an hour late coming back tho.

Some funny banter where I was down near the building site end. One morbidly obese Yam Yam, glaringly visible in a white coat the size of a circus big top was really getting it. "You paid for two seats" to The City is Ours tune. Shouts of "No wonder they had to build a new fucking stand" and "He'll need Greenpeace to come and move him at the end". Also the steward with the impressive head of silver hair being greeted with shouts of "Father Ted" as he walked along the front of the stand.
Even the notoriously twattish West Midlands Police kept it low key last night.
By the way, what was Jeff Whitley doing on the pitch at half time.

Sat near the blue alliance kids, (some of them about 12) but giving it the big un, but on a whole was decent where i was

great trip. tba coach rocking.

yet again though had some bellends behind me in the queue

"these kids have got it easy supporting us now were good"

what a twat. yeah cause we havent had to go through 10+ years of education with daily jokes as united won everything. if anything id say those aged 18/30 have had it worse
