Might be wrong here. But I vaguely remember an FA Cup tie between Newcastle and Wolves at Molineux, when Wolves were in the First Division, and Bellamy was winding the Wolves fans up and pointing to the Premiership logo on his sleeve to try and get a reaction from them! That'll be another reason for their hatred of him, if I'm right that is.

They don't have the Premier League logos on the sleeve for Cup Matches....

I lived in Wombourne before coming out here pal and i always liked Wolverhampton for a decent night out, their fans on the other hand are truly dillusional though if the truth be told. They are obsessed with being a "big club" and "deserve" to be in the Prem, quite where they get this from (apart from the 50's & 60's) is beyond me :-) !!

this may already be mentioned,wolves fans hate craig because of the coventry connection and the old wolves- norwich games where a certain talentless defender going by the name of muscat decided to (to the joy of the wolves fan i recall) stick his stud straight through craigs knee cap, indeed the pointing to the premier badge did take place, i was there ..i was also there when muscat did his dirty deed. personally i dont know why they bother giving him stick, it just increases the motivation a notch.
