Wolves fans, rags in disguise

Singing Un*ted, Un*ted, I even saw one hold up a rag scarf at one point.

Never seen that before from away fans. Amazed. How sad/low can you get.

Boro fans always used to sing "United, United, United" when we were playing them. I've heard a few other clubs randomly shout it. Villa fans always used to sing "Man U sing more songs than you..." but they don't seem to sing that anymore.

I'm in 111, so am right by the away fans, and there were about 50 Wolves fans who chanted "United". The rest in their end who heard it looked fairly embarrassed about it.

fair enough, but their 'miniority' seem to do it time and time again everytime they play us. pathetic and embarrasing. that club has 'championship' wirtten all over it, the fact that half their songs actually have the words 'we are premier league' in them is cringworthy.

I have always considered wolves fans as rags and I hope they go down. I remember going to molineux when we lost 4-1 super Robert Taylor scored our goal. Their fans sang Eric c*ntona 'shitbags' every one of them, also when SWP bagged 2 on our way to winning the championship they sang united. Not just a few of them either.

Maybe they should concentrate on being Wolves! We wonder why most officials seem to have an agenda against us when every back water club has the rags as their 2nd team.

I went to the game, sat in the upper tier and i didn't see anyone with a Man Utd scarf or anybody singing any United chants and if i had of done i would have been embarassed. I dislike every club that isn't Wolves so don't go tarring all Wolves fans with the same brush (as closet Man Utd fans) if a fickle few are trying to wind you up with chants of United.

Every club has fickle fans, think back to when you played Lech Poznan and a section of your fans were singing what the F*$kin hell is that to their bounce, a few months down the line the same fans are adopting this support as there own. Also i saw one or two Man City fans taking notes out there wallets and waving them, only a select few but still not long ago you guys know what its like to be going up and down the divisions and going away every week knowing that theres a 1% chance of winning and still being loyal so theres no need for any cockyness now you're splashing the cash (again im only aiming this at a couple here)

By the way i hope you do win the league over United because there fans are an embarrasment, simply put. Just for the fact that coming out of Old Trafford earlier on in the year and having people say "easy" when they beat us and their accents aren't even Mancunian is ridiculous and is one of the things i hate about football.
Good to see that there aren't a lot of there tourists at Eastlands.

Good luck for the rest of the season.

Yet now we are in a position to win things like 'Nited", you seem hell bent on labelling blues as "small time"?

Very fucking strange Liam!

Missing the point.

The Tevez poster wasn't small time?

Dzeko being told to say about the City fans wasn't small time?

SOME of the clubs acts are small time and are hell bent on winding United up...when we don't need to, we do our talking on the pitch.

You pillock.

No, the Tevez poster wasn't small time, it was the most successful marketing strategy ever conceived in football and for a couple of grand gained us worldwide exposure, worldwide brand recognition and worldwide headlines. No other marketing campaign has ever achieved anywhere near the level of attention that City's did, and that includes your videos of twats doing videos for Nike and paying several million for the privilege.

How was Dzeko 'told to say anything'? Do you believe that as a life long fan of the Premier League, who plays with players in the Premier League, and worked under a former Premier League manager, he MAY have just heard this on his own? Do you think our PR team tell our players to drop certain quotes into their interviews and they just oblige wherever possible?

You have exactly zero clue about what you are talking.

i remember a game in 99 at moliounioux, or what the fuck they call it, and they sung something like "you still support man united". never know why they did. loved the response from us "sell all your tickets, you need to sell all your tickets".

lost 4-1. hat trick from that ade akinbye guy. bad memory

I was there that night, the song they sung that disgusted me and i've hated them ever since was "Man U, its just like watching Man U" when they were 4-1 up, not just a small section either, it was the whole ground! To be fair they murdered us that night but how any fans of anothert team can sing crap like that is beyond me.

Hahahahahahahaha!

You do over exaggerate, Damocles.

Course Dzeko was told to say it! It was yet another thing the club did to try and wind United up...but as you just confirmed, no one on here can have an opinion without being insulted if someone disagrees.

Oh and for the pillock comment, if someone called that you, you'd have no doubt banned them.

TBH got talking to a group of 7 Wolves fans on the way back into the city centre after the game and they were all sound. talked bout the league, they hate Manure, like coming to City as it's good banter and hoped that we win the league.

every team will have their element of knobhead supporters....City will be no different
