Just soo many barriers for anyone who has to travel ..tried to move work meetings around ..couldnt do it..then i would have the travel issue no trains..would have to stay over ..luckily i would have family members to stay at.. other option ..drive 250 miles in Friday traffic.. thats a good 5. x hours these days.. 8 pm Friday sounds great. Unless you have to travel = 1.000's more empties... watching City is akin to race aound the world nowadays

I’d replace Foden with MacArtee/Lewis, or if keep Foden for his good one of the bernado gundo or KDB be replaced by Gonzalez.
Really wanted MacAtee to come good..threatens to have a great touch ( like that touch and lob v Villa but then has so many poor first touches and lay offs..makes him hard to pick tbf...shame. I loved Lewis' attitude but saw soo many limitations in how he addresses the ball for a prem player..but his first touch last Sunday hopefully is a turning point..who knows

Win, because we have to. They have strung a few results together but we are more than capable of getting three points.

There's bold solution to all this - A supporters trust fund - with an ambition to raise £400 (half of average ST) x 20,000 per season = £8 million per annum - big ask ...well maybe the average playing salary for 23 x man first team squad = £8.7 million per player - so maybe they contribute 2%? = £4.35m + maybe a £2m contribution from Sheikh's personal wealth? = £6.35m? about £1.5m to be raised by the trust - the pot should then be used to accept applications for ST contributions - based on locality North East Manc Post Codes and Moss Side / Levenshulme maybe (to help fill the stadium on those difficult non sat pm matches) + means tested - minimum wage applicants / NHS staff etc....they also have a non trf clause (comes with ID maybe) plus minimum attendance - doing this will be great for the club, players putting something back for fans support + we will be at the vanguard of supporting the 'working class' who lets face it, the game was built on and now sadly left behind... this could be revolutionary - could extend to support for Wembley trips ...maybe charity shield and the 'League Cup' and semi's - to help with our attendance. We do not have enough support outside Manchester thanks to the slur campaign. As a side note, my friend in SW London told nme her dad paid £180.00 For a txt liv v spurs - as a 'Liverpool supporter'' plus travel + hotel best part of £700.00! we 'aint got enough fans who can do that yet they have thousands from Scandanavia, London, Bristol Ireland etc...who can do this 2 or 3 x per year - hence they fill up...hardly any locals go hence the locals go overboard on city centre celebrations etc as its free...and they can show their support when many haven't been in Anfield for 10 years plus! We need to take action and quickly -

I'm alright with other people thinking he should play, I just think it would be fucking daft. There's a reason he ain't playing and it's because he's not ready. As for us as others have said, it's amazing what a settled back line can do.

Wolves are playing well, be silly not to acknowledge it. I still fancy us at home of course.
Fair enough - I really fancy us too, they've beaten a couple of big-name teams, but nobody really playing well.

It's just, - removing any blue-tinted spectacles for a while - whilst we are finally on a run results-wise, we should remember that we've given up sooo many chances and had it not been for opposition players missing the sort of chances that we'd be slamming Sav for missing - or straying needlessly offside - things would be looking completely different.

For example, Elanga's gimme - by all rights, that should have been 180⁰ momentum change immediately after the break. I honestly don't think that that chance would have arisen with Khus on the pitch.

I agree that left and centre (all down to the knock-on effect of NOR/Gvardiol) should be tinker-proof, but I still have reservations over on the right.

It would be very boring if we all agreed on everything, though :-)

I agree with your sentiments on McAtee but the problem is as I and others have said before is he’s had so few chances up to this point. Could easily have had 20-30 min cameos earlier in the season but of course all the doubters “he’s not good enough to replace KDB, Foden etc” come out.
The perfect rebuke to that is look at Nico O’Reilly - come in and done a great job

It’s too early to be writing off our young players. As soon as Oreily had a bad patch, which he will, I can see those same fans writing him off as well

The issue with McAtee, is the more minutes he's on the pitch, the more invisible he becomes......O'Reilly is currently doing what McAtee should have been doing the last couple of seasons, earn 90mins, and put the same performance in for 90mins as he did in the cameos, McAtee simply fails to do that.

DIdnt we go through the same thing with Palace? They were the best team after scousers since Xmas, they would run through our midfield, blah blah blah. Villa didnt lay a glove on us so with all due respect I think you're being somewhat over-optimistic.
But I wouldn’t say palace midfielders are better or even more agile. I think you’ll be surprised on the quality of Andre and Gomes on and off the ball.

I am already having fooking nightmares about Cunha, I think hes an incredible player.
Can’t forget him either! ;) I’m not saying we’re going to beat you but just saying we’ve beaten the bottom 6 teams doesnt mean anything. Our manager is in pubs having pints with the fans every week! Haha

Yes, good team, we will need to go all out to win.

Ps Hope he does not go full Chris Wilder and relive his youth thinking hes a hoolie!

Looking forward to this, Friday night doesn't seems bad when it's the start of a Bank Holiday weekend.

If we can get the win it's back up to 3rd and steals a march on our rivals.

It's not inconceivable for us to pull level on points with Arse after the next 2 games.

They have Bournemouth and no doubt will be resting players and tthen it's up to Anfield!
