Wolves (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

Usually a 5-1 win is brilliant, and still is, but feels we missed a chance to knock a few more in. Kev was poor by his standard, his radar was off and alot pf attacks broke down to to a poor final ball.
5 - 1 is brilliant.
Nice to score a few more but they would be irrelevant.
We can't end up with a better GD than arsenal.

This should be the lineup the rest of the way. Kovacic and Rodri are superb. Workrate is supremely important now and guards against any team trying to get through the midfield. We should only be focused on Fulham. Only game that matters. Would love for United to tie Arsenal. We don't really need it but it would help.
Rodri & Kova dovetail quite well for how little they've played together. Always seems to be one of them available to receive the ball off the keeper or defenders and neither seem to be bothered about having to fill in at the back sometimes when we do lose possession. Both also very good at joining in further up the field as well.

The Boys in Blue didn’t give in. They fought to the end. Thank you City, thank you lads, thank you fans. Boys you did us proud. You showed ‘em, you showed ‘em all.
Especially the Midland muppets who were really lower middlers!! The humiliation the lads gave ‘em is insult enough I guess. :-)
Especially the biased, know nowt, allegedly professional stupid media types.
Even more especially the Specsavers needing, stupid, predisposed, dinglebuff, whistling fools who try their best but just can’t drag us down. That’s because you doodle fools you always forget who we are!
THE BEST TEAM IN THE LAND AND ALL THE WORLD!!

5-1 that’ll do me.
But the thing that made my day? The return of John Boy he came home to the Etihad and played and a super big hug from Pep before he went on the pitch. :-)

Of course the rousing reception and appearance of our very own magician Merlin was the cherry on the top of the icing on the cake. :-)

Great game to watch, I know it's easy to be patronising on the back of a good win but I thought Wolves played their part. Credit to Gary O'Neil who had a go, unlike Arteta, Klopp & ten Haag.
I agree, I actually posted like why are they playing * trying not to be entitled. They gave it a go when they had nothing to play for. I noticed their gd is now -11, so until today minus 7 so not a bad little mid table team. That ruddy Hwang scored against us this time, he's becoming their new Adama Traore v us!

I still wanted more goals, pity some of KDB passing off today, but ye gods Phils peachy pass and Erlings 4th goal were delightful.

There'll be a damn good reason why Arteta, Klopp and Ten Haag didnt have a go (the clue is in the outcome of the matches...)

Don't want to jinx anything but I thought these last two games could have been the banana skins but we've got through them.
Tonight we made mincemeat of a wolves team who looked alright in patches and who beat us last time.

Onwards on upwards. I shall watch the tramps tomorrow knowing they can't do fuckall to stop us or have any say on the run in.

Super city.
