Agree that we are exactly where we deserve to be, as is every team.

What you've overlooked is that I clearly said 'at the moment'. In other words, we have the best record in the league over the past 5 games, but I can't accept that we are the best team.

Would you genuinely expect us to go out tomorrow and beat either of the top two, for instance?

Having said that, I've no problem with those who think that we would, I just don't agree with them.

No-one's saying we're the best side - we're far from it, but every season we get results at this stage of the season. We don't do belt and braces football - we risk it all in search of the win and at times we live dangerously against teams decent on the counter attack - but I love all that - it makes us what we are. We're three points behind Arsenal - a megabucks prime-age side that are supposedly a European powerhouse now that they've reached a Ch L semi.

For what it's worth, I think it's a fantastic position to be in, considering the mood in, say, January. Definitely making the most of this season. Next year though, crucial.
