Phil seems to have gone a bit like Stephen Ireland did performance wise.Possibly Phil needs to go and see a Sports Psychologist as he appears to need his head sorting out as it appears to be somewhere else
Given Ireland's gran story he clearly needed his head sorting out as wellPhil seems to have gone a bit like Stephen Ireland did performance wise.
More flat than flair.
Right yes, the offside one. Well it definitely seems one sided at the minute, and I've honestly looked at them with as much neutrality as possible. The ones involving Newcastle have been very dubious to say the least. It’s all to do with the Liverpool/Robertson one. I knew at the time we were screwed after that. It happens every time we get a contentious decision - which we get about once every two years. Think about it - have we had one 50-50 decision go for us since that game? Pep knows
Yeh Phil got bullied off the ball, then fell on the ground waving his arms in the air whilst Wolves launched a counter attack forcing another corner.Did Erling and Phil have a touch of the ball between them when they came on?
Just had homemade leek and potato LovelyDefinitely Scotch Broth, not the Aldi shit propper Heinz
Refs have definitely decided to allow much more physicality - if not plain rough stuff - this season. In the past fouls would be given which are now waved on. This version of City struggles to deal with aggressive play, players get turned over, misplaced and hurried passes, and playing a high line means we constantly get done on the counter. Haaland is constantly pulled around by sometimes two defenders and gets nowt. Lightweights like Phil, Rico and Bernardo to a lesser extent find it tough going and get swatted. Phil becomes hesitant and seems to get disheartened and just runs around making safe short passes.Yeh Phil got bullied off the ball, then fell on the ground waving his arms in the air whilst Wolves launched a counter attack forcing another corner.
I agree. He’s not always been in form but there’s not many occasions when he hasn’t put a good shift in.We'll miss Bernie when he goes, i wish some of our other players showed as much heart & had bollocks as big as his
Funnily enough the week after the Liverpool oneRight yes, the offside one. Well it definitely seems one sided at the minute, and I've honestly looked at them with as much neutrality as possible. The ones involving Newcastle have been very dubious to say the least.
Or you could have gone with ‘played a superb crisp ball in to Semenyo when he hit the bar’ I suppose we all see what we want to seeYeh Phil got bullied off the ball, then fell on the ground waving his arms in the air whilst Wolves launched a counter attack forcing another corner.
That's the one.Funnily enough the week after the Liverpool one
Yet all regularly had crowds in the 20 thousands in the recent past. Don't do irony in the Midlands it seems. It’s a Midlands thing, Villa, Forest exactly the same. Small time and bitter.
Well it’s a physical sport. David Silva could also be called a lightweight but you never saw him get bullied. Likewise Nasri.Refs have definitely decided to allow much more physicality - if not plain rough stuff - this season. In the past fouls would be given which are now waved on. Sad to see.
Yeh just watched it back. To describe that as a superb crisp ball is a touch elaborate. It’s a pass that any premier league player worth his salt should make.Or you could have gone with ‘played a superb crisp ball in to Semenyo when he hit the bar’ I suppose we all see what we want to see
