Wolves post match

Definitely the two weakest areas in the squad now with Mendy out for the season and an injury prone Kompany.
Mendy maybe back in April. If Delph stays fit, I'm not sure I'd buy a left back for the sake of 10 weeks unless it was a player we had been after all along

Zinchenko I thought was one of our better players tonight. Just needs some more confidence but he was our outlet for much of the game.

We were almost playing with 9 men at the end. Yaya was a passenger throughout and Gundogan was holding his groin. Danilo looked like he went off with an injury unless it was cramp.

Thought the front 3, Aguero, Jesus and Sterling were very disappointing. Aguero looked miles off the pace against Burnley and he was again tonight. Hopefully the football will have brought him on a bit.

I was thinking had we brought KDB, and Sane on on the hour mark we'd have won it in normal time, but it was a gamble. At least we went through.

Great crowd although the City fans were very quiet.

its a strange one. barely any tourists at all and when the south stand did actually sing ( when the penalties were being taken) we sounded pretty loud. having an entire end of city fans every game i think would make the difference overall. i was in 114 and lots were trying join in, but for some reason both singing sections just kept singing different songs at the same time

Who'd have thought it - Bravo MOTM. 3 one on one stops and 2 pen saves.
Poor team selection and subs way too late.
Ball not moved quick enough tonight and Aguero and Sterling missed some sitters.
Mangala is indeed dog shite and Sane needs to start every game.for us to stretch the opposition.
Without Silva and KDB we just don't pose enough of a threat.
Gundogan and the Irish lad Bernard O'Silva just aren't up to the pace of eth English game yet this season.
5 man deep defence from now on in against us I reckon.

When the team sheet was read out & I heard Aguero was captain, I had a feeling of foreboding. This is TWO matches now where where we've sacrificed concentrating on the game at hand, for concentrating on Aguero equalling and now beating Brooke's record.

Talk about the elephant in the room, we've got a herd of Elephants in the stadium! I can't fuckin wait until he's done it, then we can all get back to the business at hand.

Centre back really is a worry. Mangala is atrocious and Tosin will never make it at our level.
Yeah, just got in and was about to say that, thought both the centre halves were utterly abysmal tonight, embarrassingly bad.

And don't get me started on Yaya, what an absolute shame that someone's legs can have gone so badly, I think even myself would have got round the pitch better than he did tonight!

Ok 3 which were basically made easier by good pressure(from defenders getting back) and him coming out to close the angle down if I remember right.
What? I don't think you're remembering it quite right mate. Those were 1v1's, meaning they were through on goal. There was only some pressure on the last one and it still came too late.

18-0 or pens, we're still in the hat or tin can or computer or whatever way they do this draw.

Z did well at the back, Tosin was solid, Mangala back to awful I'm affraid.

Bravo even before the pens was mom.
I saw mangala make one mistake in the 1st half, apart from that I thought he was OK. Sounds like I missed something.

according to the commentator wolves only had 2 first team players out tonight, our senior players were shite until subs were made in extra time apart from bravo

Pep apparently unhappy with the actual ball. Said it was ‘unacceptable’ according to Simon Bajkowski on Twitter.
Knew there was a good reason we didn’t score at least 5 today, well there we have it.... The ball was shit.
