Wolves post match

A shout out to all the fans who stayed until the end.

Heaven knows what time some of them will get home?

I just have got back...thoroughly enjoyable.
Wolves were so deep, and narrow, they effectively packed their penalty area.
Bravo was superb, City bossed it....

Good luck in the next round

? whats that based on. i thought he played well tonight. kept the ball well and blocked a certain goal.

The problem with tosin is I think he might be good enough but he needs 20 games to find his feet or get found out.

Similar to previous games he started very hesitantly, looked nervous on the ball but then grew and grew in the game.

With his passing in particular, he seemed to be conciously avoiding riskier, but necessary passes for quick build up play after his first attempt at a ball through midfield got cut out and intercepted.

If he had 20 senior games under his belt I think we'd see the confident Tosin from the first whistle not after 50 minutes or so, or we wouldn't see that and we'd know he's not good enough, but wheeling him out 3x a season isn't getting anywhere.

With Mangala clearly not good enough, I think Tosin should take his place and let's see him come on for 20 minutes at the end of these games we're winning 5,6,7-0.

Firstly, credit to Wolves, they gave a good account of themselves but i've got to say we were poor tonight. Surprisingly, it was the midfield that didn't turn up. A midfield trio of Yaya, Gundogan and Bernardo should be good enough to play and win in any premier league game but Fernandinho,Silva and KDB won't be worried about losing their place anytime soon after that. Slow, sluggish play, no tempo and no incisive passing which was very disappointing. Considering it was a makeshift defence i think they did quite well overall, a few lapses here and there but Bravo who was superb came to the rescue. Quite ironic that the only player that stands no chance of getting into the first 11 barring injuries was our best performer. Wouldn't have minded going out as we can do without the extra games, especially when the second string aren't pulling up trees but after that we now must go on to win the thing, nothing worse than exerting all that energy and going through a few more games for nothing

You weren't. From what I have seen of him he has shown nothing to suggest he can make it at the top level. He didnt even stand out at youth level, I am actually surprised he was ever promoted into first team reckoning.

i think your being way to harsh on him. first game all season, so he was bound to struggle a bit at times. i thought he looked comfortable and that block was brilliant. hes only young, we should be supporting him.

BBC and EFL reports:
Claudio Bravo was Manchester City's hero as they beat Wolves on penalties to reach the Carabao Cup quarter-finals with a club-record 12th successive win.

Interesting but I still think it goes down as a draw in the record books. I will be glad if I'm wrong. Seems some confusion. I was very certain but perhaps I'm wrong. I see Sam Lee just said it's a draw too.

Could even be subjective I suppose. If it was up to me a win is a win.

i agree. he looked hesitant at times, but thats bound to happen, as he hasn't played all season. he needs more games to develop and gain some confidence. i think hes got the potential to be a really good player.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. I thought it was very poor apart from the penalty shoot out.

Sorry, the defence was terrible. If they had a Premier League standard striker, we’d have lost.
