Wolves - post match

Your the one with the pointless comments calling people rags and being abusive just cos they don't agree with you
My beef with you is you have 357 posts in about 8 years.
Yes I've looked at your profile as I wanted to back my argument up with you.
Not one positive comment about us. It's shit this and shit that, embarrassing this and rubbish that, not one comment when we win and not one positive comment about anything.

You could be a recluse, depressed, fuck knows but what I do know is your comments are shit, your views totally different to the theme of the post and you stick out like a sore thumb.

I've reported you and I'm also having it out with you as we get idiots like you who pop up every time we lose and quite frankly I'm pissed off with it.

Do you get me?

Yes they have practically won it... but still a big deal. Don't want them to go invincible, get 100 points and steal any of our records. It will be bad enough them winning it without listening to the cultists and the media telling everybody how they're a better team then the Pep teams of the last two years

To be honest I don’t care about records. Trophies are all that matter.

Mendy almost went off yesterday for putting his head into a 50/50 and getting clattered for it, so to then sit behind your keyboard and tell everyone he's got no spine or commitment is pretty fucking pathetic to me.

Are you kidding....he half pulled out of it which was the issue.....if that had been walker he would have taken the ball and the man and carried on...Mendy is the epitomy of spineless in a chalenge....... the other guy came worse off as Mendy headed him after the ball

He’s naturally apprehensive in the tackle after the injuries he’s had, however, spineless?? Have a day off ffs, your understanding of the game sometimes know no bounds!

He defended perfectly well against one of the most dangerous wingers in the league until the guy shoulder charged him in the back. Prior to yesterday he'd defended well against Leicester and Arsenal.

He could always defend at Monaco, and he's been defending fine since coming back. People seemingly can't separate one mistake (when he was fouled) from the other 90 minutes we were down a man and he played well.

Twas ever thus. Supporters and professional pundits all fall into the same trap time and again of judging a player's performance on the most notable moments rather than taking a truly holistic view.

All good points Marvin but last night I just felt that Pep got it wrong. It was, for me, glaringly obvious that the ball was not being retained well enough by Sterling, that’s why he should have come off instead of KDB. He could of played six in midfield, with De bruyne in an almost false nine role. I just felt we would have kept the ball better and knicked it.
In hindsight we'd have been better keeping Mahrez up front & taking Sterling off. Mahrez at least has more technical ability, enabling him to control the ball & hold it up, far more than Sterling.

You need to go back and rewatch that incident again. Half pulled ? I was genuinely concerned about his wellbeing and the wolves player . It was head injury FYI and mendy was the one who smashed the harder . Stop this scapegoat bullshit.

Let’s be real. There’s a real clear out needed. We are looking at a three year climb back to even challenging for the title. Otemendi, Stones, Femandino, Walker, Mendy, Bravo, Spanish Dave, Aguero, Gundy - some not good enough, some ‘thanks for all the fish’.

Our biggest mistake? Not buying VVD from Celtic let alone Southampton. Then not replacing Komps. We need to accept that the answer to every problem isn’t yet another attacking midfielder and sometimes that answer has a market cost we have to bite the bullet and pay.

Pep turned a team worse than this one (in his first season) into Champions in his second season - and I for one would back him to do it again.

The team is in parts at the end of a cycle and needs a rebuild but it might not even happen in summer. Will we give Pep money to spend on a rebuild knowing he's only got a year left and that any new manager would want his own signings. The collapse from two up even with ten men is criminal and that left back position has been an issue that has been unresolved since near the end of Mancini's reign.

If we want to succeed this season in non PL competions we have to play two DM (Rodri and Fern) to protect our defence. It is currently simply not good enough to survive against teams that attack us with pace
We have been found out.

Sure. In three years. This Liverpool team isn’t going to get anything but better over the next couple of seasons. They’ve married a physicality to artistry and that’s the new challenge we have to rise to.

They've lost Allison, Fabinho and Matip for significant parts of the season. They haven't had a free run at injuries.

It pains me to say it but they're just a very, very good side.
They lost Allison for a short spell. None of their injuries are comparable to ours - Zinchenko, Sane, and Laporte under the surgeon's knife - as was Mendy (albeit quite a while ago, but he still hasn't recovered), Sergio out for the last month - a similar length of time out as Fabinho is likely to be. Alex O C was out long term, but has yet to establish himself despite his obvious talent. So yes, they're an exceptional side, but their top performers - VvD, Salah, Mane, Firmino, TAA, Robertson, don't get injured for anything like the same length of time as our equivalents.

Or maybe after going 97 points plus over 2 seasons they will suffer from a inevitable drop off like we have ?

How can you not rate Ederson after last season? Yes he made an error of judgement. Every player does that, that doesn't make them a poor goalkeeper. Your comment that Ederson is a poor shot-topper is not true.
Some people on here get over-excited when we're having a bad run - you see similar types at the stadium - lots of finger wagging and moronic tactical advice for David. A huge chunk of fans on here clearly do not grasp the Pep method. You hear these morons 'Why don't we play fastor, he needs to play fastor'.
