Wolves Thread - 2023/24

BREAKING: Referee Simon Hooper, VAR Michael Salisbury and AVAR Richard West all DROPPED for this weekend's Premier League appointments after collective failure to award Wolves a penalty at Old Trafford last night. Move is part of PGMOL chief Howard Webb's demand for greater accountability.
There is no evidence that Howard Webb is in any way interested in "greater accountability".

That’s all very well, but it isn’t going to give Wolves the chance to convert the penalty, and therefore gain a more than deserved point at the swamp.

The rags still take all three points, and the one that didn’t end up at Molineux might make a lot of difference at the end of the season, whether it be avoiding relegation, though I doubt it, or places, and more prize money in the final Premier League table. Will PGMOL be willing to stump up for the income that this could cost Wolves?

Somehow, I can’t see it.

This is not accountability, it is a “mini-retirement”, as Gary Neville would say.

They’ll be back in a few weeks after the scandal inevitably blows over, doing the same thing again.

Halfway through the season and Ha ha Julen who?
think we all were really underwhelmed when Gary O’Neil was appointed and feared the worst. But what a job he has done, getting the best from the team. In the same amount of games he’s overtaken Lopeteguis ppg and we have scored 13 goals more.
3 games in 6 days 9 points and 9 goals cant complain.

Underrated manager and decent football too.

Plus we are scoring more goals now, 30 so far compared to 31 all of last season. I was very underwhelmed by Gary O’Neil but he is doing a great job and Lopetegui looks a bit silly turning his back on us.

Still living in Wolverhampton and waiting for a Premier League job that isn't coming when he had a perfectly good one already.

Have a buddy who is a Wolves supporter. We banter. Have a soft spot for them but didn’t back when they beat us!! Wanted the cunts to go down for about a week!!

Just saw some extended highlights and they played some wonderful stuff. They had better take it to the Rags when they play them soon.
