Sure it’s not just new manager bounce?
An element of that but it was so amateur and shambolic under O'Neil we just needed a competent manager to come in and organise us, inspire the players, give them confidence - not stealing their thunder when they do well and chucking them under the bus when they don't.

The squad should be nowhere near the bottom 3, the only thing that was substandard was O'Neil and his rag tag, cobbled together coaching staff.

Listening to Vitor speak the difference between him and O'Neil is night and day. Hopefully it continues and we can improve under him and do much better next season

There’s an element of that for sure, but there’s structure and patterns of play that we didn’t have under the chaos of O’Neil. We look organised and difficult to beat. Of course we’ll lose but am more confident with Vitor that we’ll survive relegation.

When does new manager bounce hit for Amorim?

Yes in the 2 games so far there has been structure and purpose, under O'Neil it was chaos with players running around like headless chickens.

Vitor has said the players have the quality and he will help them believe in themselves again. O'Neil kept implying they weren't good enough and that we shouldn't and couldn't beat bigger teams.

Wonder what the odds are that wolves finish above the drags. Kept on telling my Wolves local friend thst they would snap out of it and start getting results. Apparently, it was ONeils sacking that triggered the change in fortunes!!

Cunha gets a two game ban. I'm staggered at the leniency of that.
Depends what triggered him to behave like that. There must be mitigating circumstances for him to have that lenient punishment. He’ll miss Forest and Bristol City.

Not done too bad Vitor - 5 straight wins, taken us from 5 points adrift to 17 points clear with 5 games to go. He has become a cult figure at Wolves with many feeling echoes of Nuno about him. Has developed an interesting habit of joining fans in Spoons Wolverhampton after games to celebrate wins!

His current win percentage at Wolves is 55% which is similarly high to much of his managerial career

Has the best win rate of all the managerial changes including Moyes.

Hopefully gets what he needs in the summer with the Cunha money reinvested, so there’s no repeat of this season’s struggles.

And you’re well clear of the rags, though that’s not much of an achievement.

Hopefully Fosun have finally learned their lesson about trying to do it on the cheap and relying on others to be more shit.

We finally have a manager whose popularity is approaching Nuno levels and he has really saved our skin this season and is genuinely delighted to be with us. It's great hearing Molineux rocking again with the fanbase united behind the manager and to approach any game feeling we can win rather than expecting to lose.

I bloody love Don Vitor!
