Wolves Thread 2025/26 | Vitor Pereira Sacked (p4)

Asks to leave to join Newcastle, gets told no, comes on against West Ham and scores twice, no tantrums no sulks. We've managed to piss off both Liverpool and Newcastle by not selling, oh well.

Well done to the hierarchy at Wolves for making a stand.

And to Strand Larsen for accepting Wolves' decision.

I hate the idea of players going on strike to force a move. And yes, that includes you, Matheus.

It stinks of being a spoilt brat with no moral compass.

Surprised at this one. Seen quite a bit of him. He's decent enough but I never really thought of him as PL quality. Maybe he improved a bit at Girona.
I went to girona for a preseason game he didn’t particularly stand out, but is versatile in he can play midfield as well which is a plus, also he’d been captain and leadership is something we’re lacking.

Top work Wanderingwolf, only just discovered the new 2025-26 thread, hopefully not our last one at this level. Been a poor start though

Tolu looks a beast (6'6"). Scored for Nigeria at the weekend, looking forward to seeing how he adapts to the PL.

If nothing else we have a beautiful shirt this season!
One of the most ridiculous goals I've seen an overhead kick whilst on his arse on the goal line - think he'll be a nuisance to defenders

Seems a bit odd as we only signed him permanently in the summer, a reward for not throwing his toys out of the pram I suppose

I think it shows that the club realises the the lad has a lot of potential, and will attract a lot of attention from other clubs in the coming months and years.

Plus, as you said, it’s a "thank you" for not kicking up a fuss.

Obviously been in the pipeline for ages and deserved for his efforts last season, however thr timing isn’t great after 4 straight losses

Usually, it’s following a good run of results, and then the inevitable happens, and the manager is sacked within a few months.

Maybe this will have the reverse effect.

Yeah but when them 4 losses are against decent sides
City
Bournemouth
Everton
Newcastle

It may about looking at the bigger picture especially ifthey win tommorow
Oh yes definitely mitigating circumstances for all 4 we just need to get a result asap

After yesterday I seriously cannot see where points are coming from. 4 years of ridiculous decisions by Jeff Shi(t) starting with letting Nuno go are coming home to roost. We are going down this season and may do a double dip next year too. Fosun started as brilliant owners but are terrible now, certainly the worst in the PL
