They do have a couple of nice boozers GDM.Wolverhampton is a shithole, but I have a real affinity for the city and I truly love its people.

I`m down again on 9/10 November as my mate says theres a Beer Festival on somewhere around there (Derby weekend mate) and then I`m over again early December when we`re meeting up with Mike & Maxine who you met last time.As we both have found to our benefit, beers brewed in the Black Country are simply the best.

Founder member of the League. They put in lights, had top Hungarian team (Honved?) play under the lights on a midweek night and basically invented the European Cup! Won far more than most in their glory years. Sadly, virtually no-one still around who saw them then.Best promoted team since ours in 2002 under Keegan?

Play a nice style of football, with a decent manager. Should be able to settle into the Premier League. Doubt they will be the team that joins Huddersfield and Cardiff going down! In fact, they might be the surprise 7th this season!

I hope wolves do well this season. I was impressed when they drew with us, and impressed when they drew with the scum. They've got some top players and a managaer that seems to know what's up. Looking for a good top half finish.
