And with regards to the speculation, they seem to be slowly coming out on the news as facts, a least some of them anyway...

If things are on the news as facts then feel free to post about it, at the time it was purely speculation, along with arguments.

As someone else posted earlier, sometimes we need to protect the site and the poster, I don't see what the issue is here?

Depends on which speculation ur referring too, I did say some of them.
