Womans League Cup - spurs (A) Wed 7th Feb 2024 KO 19:30

Should've made the scoreline a bit healthier but can't even remember Khiara having an actual save to make.
Good win but only watched the first half which apart from a great goal was deadly dull and pretty shit. at times City m9ve the ball so slowly and Spurs stood off ghem. there were times when I thought the screen had trozen

I’ve just seen the goal.

What a fucking stunner it was.
It was brilliant, but more importantly her all round game is also very good, she gave the ball away about twice all game, defensively she takes the ball in tight spaces and recycles it so often, but she can also drive forward, and pass forward.

Brilliant player, for someone so small, she is also very strong.

The female equivalent of Rodri.

Finished 1-0, but it was complete control for most of the game, Hasegawa is a class footballer.
She really is. Pleased she signed the contract extension. The last couple of matches Jess Park has played in midfield from the off. She too is another good little player.

Dull game but was at Brisbane Rd and the City fans outsung Spurs ten times over. Not the best watch but great goal from Yui and the players probably have Sunday on their mind too. Job done, in the semis and another win added to our streak. Can't complain!
