Women havin' kids....

What amazes me is that it's the men that get blamed as though the pill was never invented. Not only that but feminists bang on about how men are now redundant but expect us to pay for their lifestyle choices.

The pill is not just an issue for women though, and if a man wants to be sure he needs to use a condom.

The fact of the matter is though that many young lads see having a kid by a girl as no big deal. If the lad can't finance a child's upbringing then of course there is always the good old State.

And that is very wrong. For the people that ultimately pick up the bill, for the child, and for society as a whole.

There are some men who are given a bad deal, but I am talking only about the feckless.

Its nuts that people are rewarded for churning out kids without any consideration as to how they are going to pay for thier upbringing.
Even more bizarre when you consider that the country is bursting at the seams. They're literally rewarding people for bringing the country to its knees. They may as well just have done with it and start paying people to spy for Al Qaeda.

I take it your being sarcastic, maybe you'd care to explain why its a good idea to pay additional benefits to single parents for each additional kid?

this happens alot and it wont change as people rather do nothing and get money... than work for the money.

i cant say too much as im 20 my sons 19months old, i was in training till the end of last year where it ended ever since i have looked for a job.. which i have got just awaiting on a start date... but mean while my partner (and also not biological dad) has been in different jobs since my son was three weeks old... but why i say i cant say much is cause i have never worked before i went from high school to college to trainning to being pregnant to having him to trainning to searching for a job so atm i cant really judge.. but my point is that not always 'young mums' sit on there arses all day atleast some do try do whats best for there kids... like me going to be working 40hours a week opporsite shift to my partner so wont see him much.... but i rather be able to give my son everything he wants and needs and i rather buy that with money me and my partner have earned.... but then i walk down the street and people judge me thinking im like everyone else like was asked a few days ago when income tax is... i was gob smacked.....

the whole point of this pointless rant is that not everyone is lazy so do have hope!

Maybe you'd care to read it again and realise that I'm agreeing with you.

Unfortunately, the children born to the shameless lazy twat described by the OP are most likely going to grow up with a similar moral fibre as their parents. They will then each produce three or four shameless lazy twats of their own. If you think things are bad now, just imagine what it'll be like in 20-40 years. They're outbreeding the country's hardworking population at an alarming rate, and this is at a point when the UK already has a pension crisis on its hands.

That's what I meant about them bringing the country to its knees.

My apologies, I thought by your last sentance you were taking the piss. Completely agree with what you are saying.

Anyone who just wants to have kids to get extra benefits and/or to not have to seek work is just a waste of space. It just smacks of low self esteem and lack of imagination.

We get one life, and to sit on your arse and waste it is beyond criminal. How can you possibly live and not want to learn? a new skill that will earn you dosh? a course that will help you meet new people? broaden your appreciation of art, literature anything?

I'm no go-getting Branson type, just an ordinary fella with strong working class roots.
I've never sat on my arse and waited for handouts. Nothing happens when you don't try.
I feel more pity than anger at these parasites, I bet they don't see beauty in anything.

My lad got laid off a couple of weeks ago, after just 7 months in his new job. He has rent to pay and values his independence, plus his girlfriend (who he doesn't live with) is in work and they are trying to plan together for a future where they WILL live together and have children one day.

My Son was from a home where he was raised for 16 years by just me. I always worked and that ethic is instilled in him. A few days ago he decided to make a speculative approach to a very reputable company and his approach gained him an interview this afternoon. Tomorrow he waits to hear about a possible second interview with the Company Director, with a view to starting with them sometime soon.

His belief in that he COULD change his situation was the motivator and a deciding factor.

Fingers crossed.

I now realise that my working was at least worthwhile to his upbringing. It has given him self pride and a sense of needing to carry on the same.

It was bloody hard though. Being an only parent that is also working can be draining, especially when the child is a toddler and/or a teen. Many a day I felt like crying off work because he was being difficult, but I never did. Mainly because I knew it was for the best.
