I'll quote the link for you, you stay there don't sprain your ankle.

For what it's worth she's a ****. But he shouldn't have texted her fella either.

A young mum falsely accused her lover of rape to hide her infidelity from her on-off boyfriend.

Keeley Horrocks claimed her 59-year-old lover had violently raped her at his home in Rochdale after the pair started a brief relationship after meeting online.

A court heard how Horrocks, 20, had found herself in a love triangle with the victim and her on-off boyfriend – and made the accusation in a bid to protect her relationship with the latter.

The victim was arrested the day after the rape was supposed to have taken place – but he was able to produce a video recording of the pair having consensual sex to police officers, a judge was told.

Horrocks pleaded guilty to perverting the course of justice at an earlier hearing and was jailed for two years when she appeared at Bolton Crown Court today.

Judge Steven Everett, sentencing, said: “You have caused a great deal of anguish and trauma by your selfish act and you stuck to your story for month after month after month.

“You were involved in what was a tangled relationship and you weren't able to stop having sex with (the victim).

“He involved himself in consensual sex with you and it is only by chance that it was recorded on a camcorder.

“Had there not been that information I have no doubt he would have faced a trial for rape as you would have carried on to the bitter end to save your relationship.”

Horrocks, of Grant Street, Burnley, underwent a full medical examination after making the allegation and, over several days, was video interviewed by trained officers.

She gave a lengthy and detailed account of her ordeal, all of which proved to be false.

Evidence was reviewed and it emerged that the report of rape had been made shortly after the lover sent a text message to Horrock’s on-off boyfriend, with whom she was trying to rekindle her relationship.

The victim, a father-of-one, spent around 20 hours in police custody following his arrest in January 2010 and was subjected to a series of physical examinations.

In a statement, he said: “This whole affair has changed my life. I should not have been in court and I should not have had to hear what was said. I should not feel the way I feel. I am still traumatised.

"As a single father, I could have lost my daughter. The first four or five months were the most difficult.

"When this happened I was put through a humiliating and traumatic ordeal and I am still suffering from the indignity of that experience now.”

Detective Constable Chris Whalley said: "Horrocks embarked on a path of deceit and told a series of malicious lies to the police and other parties involved in the investigation in a bid to try and save her own relationship with the man she was trying to get back with.

“It was not only an utterly selfish thing to do, it was also criminal.

"Her actions meant that a totally innocent man was forced into the best part of a 20-hour custody ordeal and his house was searched. This made a mockery of the experiences suffered by genuine victims.

"The support we gave to Horrocks shows just how seriously we take any allegation and I want to stress that in publicising this case, we want anyone who has been a genuine victim to speak to us because we can help not only you, but also put your attacker behind bars."
