I was walking back towards Ancoats Road after the game and a bunch of rags walking behind me were sneaking about City. I wouldn’t be surprised if they were the knobs doing the throat slitting gestures. They were struggling to find there way back to Piccadilly Station like all good Man reds.

I thought about fronting them up but it’s wasn’t worth it.

I don’t know what’s more astonishing - the 31k+ attendance or behaviour like that at a women’s football match ffs!

As it happens, when asked I got tickets for the other half’s dad and her 9 year old grandson. Both United fans. I wasn’t even aware that there was a segregated area for their fans and just assumed it would be all mixed.

It needs proper segregation in future. Loads of united in the home areas like today is not ideal, whether it’s Mens, Women’s youth team, whatever

There was a few rags scattered across the rest of the ground and there wasn’t any mither. Most of the people at the game were family people

Good that so many people have let us know they didn't enjoy it.

Nice that City won though, I suppose that's worth something.

Fantastic crowd there today, though in typical City fashion, they managed to complicate things. Instead of allowing those cars with a pass for Car Park G to use it, we were directed into the media car park, so slowing down vehicles' access to the parking area. This in turn meant we missed the kickoff.

The rags came out and had a real go early on, but our defence held them at bay, including a fantastic save by Ellie Roebuck. Steph Houghton is absolutely brilliant and showed her class throughout the game. Her partnership with Gemma Bonner looks like it could become a very good one. Demi Stokes also had a very good game and caused the rags no end of problems.

The goal was extraordinary. From my seat in Row E of 119, I wondered what Caroline Weir was doing because it kept low almost until just before it hit the net, when it seemed to rise suddenly. It was a fantastic strike.

In her short time on the pitch, Lee Geum-min showed what a talent she is, and I’m convinced she will be a tremendous asset to the club.

We pretty much dominated the second half and fully deserved the victory.
