Janine Beckie player of the match for me. One of the few things Cushing has got right this season is converting her to a right back (even if she doesn't have to do too much defending). Should've scored a few more but I guess we can settle for 5.

Five different scorers is a great sign that we aren’t reliant on only one or two to score.

Good to see an all-female officiating team as well. Mrs Oliver seems a lot less anti-City than her wanker of a husband.

Janine Beckie player of the match for me.

Me too, I thought she was excellent, and one of the few that didn't give the ball away constantly, I thought a few were below par to be honest, bbc gave it to Hemp who was pretty good, but she was certainly guilty of giving it away a few times. Walsh put through a couple of great passes, one resulting in a goal, the other should have, but overall I thought she didn't have a great game, nor did Scott, or White for me. Defence were generally OK but still managed a few shaky moments.

Great performance.

I thought it was very patchy, they played some good spells, but also were very sloppy at times, like in the first half just before and after the third, and the first 20 minutes of the second half, when Brighton were the better team. Its a good result, especially as Chelsea only drew at Everton, to win the league we're going to have win against both Chelsea and Arsenal at home in the new year, but we can do it, we're also going to need to makes sure we don't drop any silly points.

Good to see a more consistent performance today. Some nice defence splitting passes from Walsh and Beckie was very good as other posters have mentioned.

We are still lacking the fluency we had a couple of years ago. The Arsenal and Chelsea home games will be a good test.

Izzy Christiansen is leaving Lyon in the summer, according to the bbc she is going back to Everton, shame we couldn't have been in for her, a fully fit Izzy would still be a boost for our team.

I used to go regularly in the summer - partly because I was football starved but haven’t been since they moved to a winter schedule. I’m guessing I’m not alone.
