When did Jill Scott move to Everton on loan?
I thought I had just seen her playing for us maybe 2 possibly 3 games ago.
 
Bring on United. No worldies available from Tobin Heath this time to give them an undeserved draw. If we finish our chances we will leather them.
Looks like the league would then rest on beating Chelsea, no mean feat, they are flying at the moment bar last weekend. I'd like to see Mewis back though ASAP.

There is a great article in the City app regarding Esme Morgan. This is a delightful article coming from a City Blue family and reminds me of the many games I watched City during the late 70s and early 80s when my daughter and I watched matches at Maine Road in the Kippax. We first went together when she was 3 or 4 and we went to every home game (and some away).
When we were not there watching she used to ask “How are City doing?”
I would say “city are losing “. She would say “How do you know? And I would reply “It’s Five minutes past Three !!”
How times have changed !!!
 
Big game tonight. Rags at home then Chelsea at home soon. The league is in their own hands, but just have a nasty feeling that all those draws early season will come back to haunt them. Really hope I'm wrong though. Good luck City.

Got to beat United, despite last week's loss I cannot see Chelsea dropping many more points. We need to be in a position where it's in our own hands to overtake Chelsea when we play them. I'm confident about tonight though, however I'd be even more confident if I knew Sam Mewis was fit to play.

Yes Chelsea beat Arsenal 3-0 midweek.
 
Stoney's just been on BBC local sport having her fourpennorth about our lasses: They're a good team, in form, look at the depth of squad, LOOK AT THE MONEY THEY'VE SPENT.

Now I've watched the women since they played at the Athletics stadium but I haven't a clue how much City have spent. I haven't seen one single figure about how much Player X cost, or Player Y. And I suspect that Stoney has no more idea than I have re any money we've spent, but did MANUre assemble a team from scratch inside a couple of seasons that is currently second in the table without spending a single dollar? Doesn't matter where these cunts come from the only notion in their tiny heads is how much money we've spent. I just hope that three of our girls get a hat trick apiece. The only trouble with battering the Rags 9-0 is that Stoney will reiterate the same notion that the nine goals are courtesy of a Sheikh's ransom. Dreary, droning drivel!
