Mewis is a different class.
The ladies are just as bad as the men for spunking away chances. That could quite easily have been 7 or 8

I hope and pray we can somehow convince her to stay lol she is so much more suited to football here than Lavelle who is a cracking player for the US but not ever quite shown it here yet.

Thought Caroline Weir looked tidy second half (until she came off). Didn't see 1st half as stream was shite, so watched it on their football channel.

I thought we were on for a fifteen or twenty nil the way we started and then it was a pretty turgid, monotonous game. Fiorentina had little by way of attacking ambition and we had a profligacy in front of goal. Wonder why Neto didn't get the second booking. The foul on Stanway was as bookable as the first - ref bottled it. But 3-0 should be enough for the second leg.

She always does, she's a clever mover, and rarely gives the ball away, was surprised she was replaced as Stanway had done very little. Kelly was our biggest threat in the first half down the right, and then got moved over to the left for some reason, as soon as she went back to the right late on, we created and took a decent chance.

Fair play to Fiorentina after that start to hold out for 85 minutes without further damage, but if the danish girl had taken her chance it would have been a very different 2nd leg, we'll score over there (and probably win), but we made that much harder than we needed to.

I agree, but we've been devoid of ideas for 3/4 of the game, far too slow, passing has been off target, poor decision making, but it's 3-0 and that's good enough, we'll score over there.

Got too agree with mate , thought it was one of the women poorest performances , I know they (Fiorenrina) sat back , but just the number of bad passes , easy 5/10 yard passes that were wayward. Also wasn't sure about the subs ie Wier and Dahlkemper going off ? Thought Weir was one of the better players and Dahlkemper did nothing wrong, man (woman) of the match for me was Georgia Stanway, seemed to be everywhere,. But a 3 nil win will do .

Thought Georgia Stanway did well, she seemed to be everywhere, also agree didn't understand why Caroline Weir when off , I know we needed something too change, but I thought Laura Coombs was the one that should of made way . Same as Dahlkemper, I thought Greenwood wasn't have a great game and maybe of been subbed first ?
