So it’s listed as both semi finals on Halloween Sunday 31 Oct, with us at home vs Chelsea. Think the other is Brighton & Arsenal.
Hope we can get a good crowd (and fit team) ready for that one.

Jill Scott was fantastic tonight, loved her reaction when the 5th went in. Thought Beckie and Park linked up well on the right during the second half. Shaw grew into the game after her second thought she started to hold the ball well and was quite physical in winning it back. Good to see Walsh back, she put some lovely balls through. The makeshift defence weren't threatened much but did the job required and stood firm. Wasn't expecting that result at all, great second half and we kept going with the positive play right up to the final whistle.

I don't know how many red hot pokers GT was warming up getting onto HT, but summat worked in the second half. I've never seen a game of women's football where two halves were so dissimilar. The first half was almost devoid of any notion of getting into the oppo area, the passing was poor, the movement, apart from the two wingers was almost non-existent, and I'm preparing myself for the Spurs game Mk II, and then along comes the second half, and WHAM! Why couldn't we adopt that second half approach - pacy, mobile, finding our players, turning with the ball and moving forward - in the first half. Leicester were untroubled in the first half, but they must have thought they faced a whirlwind in the second.

Thought we played very well second half after a dismal first half. I missed the first goal as I hadn't been bothered to remember it was starting again. Actually with all the players out/out of position, that is a very good result. Good to see Walsh back, we need the rest back asap to gain some momentum and confidence.
