bebe was homeless a few years ago & even played for portugal in the homeless world cup (no, i'm not joking). he then signed for a portuguese 3rd division club & his games for them remain the only 'senior' football he has ever played.

portuguese 1st division club vitoria guimaraes picked him up for peanuts then 6 weeks later, on the recommendation of quieroz & despite never having seen him play, bacon face snapped him up for £7.4m. he had never played a league or cup game for guimaraes so a nice profit for them. a few weeks earlier the rags could have picked him up for almost nothing.

so the rags reveal him as one of their summer signings but despite costing more than adam johnson reports are coming out of the swamp that solskjaer & his assistant have told bacon face that bebe isn't even good enough to play for the reserves. (this was before he was left out of the squad for the reserve derby on tuesday).

for a club with its arse hanging out of its trousers it seems bacon face has done a great job in pissing away money they can't really afford to spend in the first place.

WOW, just WOW. If this is all true, then bacon face needs his feet held to the fire over it. I take it the press are aware of this as well, so why no difficult questions at press conferences? Jesus, they've lost it totally.

anyone remember that Liberian player that turned up at Southampton a few years ago (think Souness was manager at the time if memory serves me) with a written "recommendation" from George Weah about his ability. Souness signed him having never watched him play, put him on the bench a few days after signing him,brought him on as a sub and watched in horror as he realised he had been conned big style, the lad was useless and was a conman.....does lightning strike twice,only this time at the swamp.....oh please let it be true....just imagine Taggart trying to explain that one away to the media hacks!
