Not sure if this should be in the General Football Forum or not so Mods can move if they wish.

It might sound harsh wishing a club to be relegated but I just hate Blackburns style of play. They have no invention whatsoever with tactics seemingly to consist of booting the ball 60 yards upto Samba, Roberts or Benjani. It is rubbish to watch and annoyingly hard to defend against.

I was quietly happy when they sacked Allardyce because I thought a new manager might introduce a new brand of football. Unfortunately Steve Kean has adopted the exact same tactics but they're just less effective at it.

It is a shame because the manager seems a sound guy and it would be a big blow for the town and some of their fans seemed alright but christ they play some awful football.

I wouldn't shed a tear....

from what I've heard, if they go down, they are likely to fold. They are surviving on the assumption that they will be on Prem League money for the next few seasons. Any drop in that income would cripple them.

Jack Walker must be turning in his grave.

I enjoy Blackburn away, and it's usually fairly cheap too. For those reasons alone i hope they stay up.

Nothing against them myself and not a bad away trip so i hope they stay up. Would also be itneresting to see how they do if they start splashing a bit of money

Anyone else notice that Jermaine Jones leave his studs in almost every tackle he made?

How much did you pay for your tickets? Rovers have charged us £10 for adults and £5 for kids for Saturday's game. Can't fault that really.

A lot fucking more than that. Cheeky bastards, hope they go down now

Anyone see the adverts on the screen last night saying that if you put a £10 bet on and it loses you get a free tickets to the bolton game?

It's probably because Wanderers vs Blackburn is more of a local derby than Blackburn vs City. Mind you, we charged £15 for the West Ham game which was good. £35 for Arsenal though.. ouch!

On that BBC predictor thing I have Wolves to beat Blackburn on the last day which would see Wolves safe and Blackburn relegated.
It's going to be bad news all round for the North West IMO, with Blackburn, Blackpool and Wigan all going down. I'll be disappointed for Blackpool even though their manager is a wanker, but I will not shed any tears for the rugby town and the ball in the sky brigade.

Nothing against Blackburn myself ,had some great awaydays over the years.
I personally hope all the local clubs stay up as it is so much easier for away trips but I suspect they won't .

My thoughts exactly.

For those who slag Wigans support off - have a look where they were 1996-7 - fourth tier! They've done exceptionally well really. Plus we get an end to ourselves.

Blackburn - same again - we get the full end.

Blackpool - another N/W club and Holloway, despite being a pillock sometimes, is loving it- he's living the dream and he said the way Blackpool were treated as City was pure class. You've got to remember he hasn't got the PR training/experience that most PL managers have.

Would prefer Wolves, Brum and West Ham go down - although I don't dislike any of those. Usually glad to see at least one of the bottom three going but this time I'll be a bit sorry to see any of those go.
